Summer 2011

Lots of work going on! We haven't even had time to update our news page! First of all, we are designing our animated logo and just added it to our intro. Did you like it?? It's still a little rough, but we love it!

As you know, we are continuing to work very hard on Chemical Evil and Rum and Ritalin. Because right now is probably not the best time to be in Mexico, the plan to shoot there for CE has changed, and we're now looking at a few different options, including Puerto Rico and the Philippines. We're also getting interest from some awesome actors who we hope to bring on board soon. Can't wait to tell you who's in the mix! Everything is looking great!

Rum and Ritalin is now in the final rewrite before we have a shooting script. The whole creative team is super excited about how it's taking shape. We're considering going east with it, and shooting in Ottawa. As we said, lots going on and we're excited that everything is still moving forward!

And we are making progress on the TV side, as well. Dream Chaser is now co-producing "ADRENALINE", a stunt/drama series with 3Brane Entertainment. It may be on the air as early as this fall! Stay tuned!

Happy new year, 2010!!

The year is starting off great for Dream Chaser and we're very excited! Our feature Chemical Evil is about to explode. The original plan was to shoot last fall. However, as we are always striving to be just a little more ambitious... our plan now is an early summer 2010 shoot for three projects simultaneously! We will be shooting:

It's been a long process but we're finally getting to the movie-making part of it all. And we're thankful that each project has an incredible team of people to help us create something very special.

On the northern side of the continent, we have begun discussions with potential cast for Rum and Ritalin, which is also planned to shoot this year.

Summer 2009

Chemical Evil
Attention Horror and Action fans -- Chemical Evil is heating up! Dream Chaser recently set up a company in Mexico for the production, and we have an awesome team of people in Mexico working hard to get the project ready. Plans are to start shooting late fall with our very own Lauro Chartrand directing.

An investor group is being put together and producers Jennifer and Lauro are heading down to Mexico City in July for meetings and a preliminary location scout.

Rum and Ritalin
Rum and Ritalin is now planned to shoot early next year, once Chemical Evil is complete. We're still in talks with distributors and looking to secure the best deal. We're also excited to be working with director Jeff Renfroe, and working around his schedule.

Spring 2009

Dream Chaser is excited to have director Jeff Renfroe attached to direct "Rum and Ritalin," which is slated for production summer, 2009. We are currently focused on casting and meeting with distributors.

Dream Chaser is exploring an opportunity to shoot our feature "Chemical Evil" on location in Mexico this fall.

Dream Chaser is collaborating with Moment Factory to develop an exciting new interactive action series for TV. We'll keep you posted!

Summer 2008

The third draft of Rum and Ritalin is in progress, while a director is being finalized and cast list is beginning to take shape.

Dream Chaser is excited to launch select tv projects, which are being pitched right now in Los Angeles.

Spring 2008

Writer Andy Garland completed the second draft of Dream Chaser feature, "Rum and Ritalin."

Dream Chaser Productions just received development funding from Telefilm for the upcoming feature, "Rum and Ritalin", which is slated for production in Vancouver this Winter.
